Lara Dutta is a beauty with brains who hails from Bangalore. She won the Miss Universe title in 2000. She made her Bollywood debut in Andaaz with fellow beauty queen Priyanka and hunky Akshay Kumar. There have been several reports of a rivalry between her and Priyanka, but they have both denied them. In the year 2000, while Priyanka won Miss World and Lara won Miss Universe, Dia mirza won Miss Asia Pacific, making it a hat-trick for India.
On the personal front, Lara was dating fellow model Kelly Dorjee for eight years and living in with him. But they split up last year for reasons best known to them and now Lara is dating Dino Morea, her friend since 15 years and Dino and Kelly have stopped talking becasue of her.Lara is quite a fashion icon and has appeared on several magazine covers like Elle and Cosmopolitan.
